It was a terrific moment to see Shaunak at the top of the chart with a perfect score of 100%. Proud of him as he put his 100% effort. 100 marks included 80% for written exam and 20% for viva in Sanskrit.Shaunak completed a 10-month long Sanskrit course from IIT Roorkee powered by Samskrita Bharati with Distinction. I had my camera ON to shoot the skit that he was a part of, but instead ended up shooting some beautiful result memories as we had no idea that final results were to be declared in valedictory ceremony, that too at the beginning itself! Prof K K Pant, Director, IIT Roorkee, had graced the occasion. Our 10 month long learning journey was great as Samskrita Bharati professors are genius and extremely helpful.

Shaunak can speak Sanskrit fluently and so he was invited to be a part of a skit that was telecasted during Valedictiry ceremony of a Sanskrit course conducted by IIT Roorkee.
He spoke about how he wants to bring back the glory to Indian Astronomers and their research. He spoke about the Astronomy references in Bhagavad Gita.

Shaunak's first attempt at timestamping an event using astronomy data. He used Sanskrit language to put it in a verse form.
