Shaunak completed Grade 4 certification in Piano with Merit From Trinity College London! ✨️ This is Grade 4 in Music which equals the level of passing a Grade 10 Board Examination. 

Grade 2 Certification in Piano from Trinity College London!

Shaunak completed Grade 2 certification awarded by Trinity College, London!  Very happily blushing in the picture, piano being his favorite instrument.  

Shaunak plays the famous piano solo by Rimsky-Korsakov- 'Flight of the Bumblebee'. 🎹 His fingers buzz like a bee here. The tune requires very fast finger dexterity, has a frantic tone, emphasizing the urgency of the Prince's errand. In the story, a magic swan turns the prince into a bumblebee so that he can visit his father without being seen. It is a notoriously challenging tune due to its rapid tempo, intricate passages and demanding finger work. 

Here's Shaunak (10 years) playing a world famous tune- 'River flows in you' by Yiruma. It is a very sophisticated tune with classical complexity. 🎵🎶 

Shaunak (9 years) plays Piano Sonata No. 11 in A Major, 'Turkish March' (Rondo Alla Turca) by MOZART. His fingers move like magic. There are no music sheets, it's all in the brain. This little guy teaches me how consistency is the most important thing while learning something new. He puts sustained efforts in practicing and memorizing the keys.  His teacher is his own humble keyboard! He chooses his favourite from pre-recorded tunes in the keyboard and challenges himself to learn it. This Sonata is a part of higher level syllabus in music colleges, but age is never a criteria to learn anything. The Alla Turca needs delicate, equal and quick fingers, a good memory for the 'nearly similar' passages, a good octave technique, technique for full chords and arpeggios. 

8 year old Shaunak playing one of the most popular symphonies- Beethoven's Symphony 25 Für Elise… which is completely self-learnt by him (without a teacher and without a screen and without books)! Für Elise is what he chose to be his first ever western music rendition! 🎹 After learning this whole rendition (it has 3 sections), when he played it for the first time I was swept off my feet and I literally bowed down to him 🙏🏻 The magic in the fingers and of course in the brain! 🎼
